Spies confirmed for Valencia wildcard

Ben Spies WILL take on MotoGP greats at Valencia.

Texan sensation Ben Spies will be confirmed today as a wildcard entry for the last race of the 2009 MotoGP season at Valencia.

Spies, who is joining fellow countryman Colin Edwards at Tech 3 Yamaha in 2010, will ride a Yamaha M1 against the top names in Grand Prix racing at the season finale in Spain.

The American has already raced in MotoGP, having ridden for Suzuki at Donington, Indianapolis and Laguna Seca.
